Please visit Starting Over Animal Rescue at Petco for adoption events, every Saturday from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.

“Don’t forget your mask!”
- Petco & SOAR require visitors to wear a face covering over both the nose & mouth.
- Please maintain 6 feet of social distancing.
- Currently a maximum of 3 fosters/volunteers will be present for animal showings. Please be patient and courteous as we begin this new process.
Cricket
- Cricket is approximately 4 years young and is available for immediate adoption!
- Cricket has had a full veterninary exam & he is purrfectly using his litter box (which is cleaned at least once a day).
- He’s long, he’s lean & super clean!
- Cricket is a handsome brown tabby, who practices his good posture for treats!
Hibiscus
- Adorable buff 3 year old male who is the friendliest!
- Hibiscus loves to purr, rub on his human’s leg and just be the best buddy he can be!
- Hibiscus only eats wet food.
Sylvester
- Sylvester is an adult male cat, tuxedo with a sweet temperament and a desire to please his human.
- Sylvester would love nothing more than spend his golden years snuggled on the sofa in a forever FOREVER home.
- Sylvester loves to snuggle, and would be great for someone who works from home, or is home a lot!
Henry
- Someone took photography lessons!
- Henry is a male 8 month old Russian Blue mix.
- While Henry doesn’t fancy other cats or even dogs, he’s got plenty of personality and pizzazz to make your home happy!
- Henry is very friendly, follows his humans, and even allows them to carry him around. He will even talk and beg for treats!
April & Barbie
- Please meet the adorable adult pair of April & Barbie!
- April & Barbie are a 9 year old bonded pair of gals, who are looking for a home together.
- Both girls are declawed, friendly and affectionate.
Boots!
- Please meet Boots!
- Boots is a 1 year old tiger and white female, with, you guessed it…white paws!
- Boots is a special girl who is looking for a special family to take care of her.
- Boots may have visual and auditory dysfunction, but she is such a lover, she doesn’t seem to mind!
- This gal is such a beauty, and would do BEST in a home with other animals to guide her along the way!
Baby Doll
- Introducing Baby Doll!
- Stunning Baby Doll is a 10 year old neutered and declawed Himalayan.
- A Himalayan cat will require routine grooming, and a potential adopter should be savvy with a long coated cat.
- Right now the girls are both a bit confused and rightfully so with what they are going through. It would be wonderful if we could find a home for them together!
Baby Girl
- Introducing Baby Girl! Baby Girl and her housemate Baby Doll lost their human just 2 weeks ago.
- Baby Girl is a 3 year old spayed female, with bright green eyes and a soft tabby coat!
- It would be wonderful if we could find a home for them together, please consider adopting this bonded pair!
Chrissy
- Gorgeous 2 year old female.
- Chrissy would do best as a single cat or with another cool kitty.
- Don’t know how to introduce cats? Just ask!

Astoria is living at Petco in Whitehall. We have adoption hours on Saturdays from 10-1, or we can have a volunteer meet you during the week to visit her, with an approved application.

Hi I felt very sorry for a stray at christmas and gave him a forever home took him to vet caught him all up and got him every thing he needs=I love him so much and he is a real sweet heart my friends(who all have cats) call him prince because he has it so good but his name is BOO ! was thinking he might need a friend would want another lover and no kittens was thinking of maybe Sylvester how old is he?, Domingo because I think Fresca got adopted have been following you guys since before I got BOO or Chessie if you think she would get along with a 3-5 yr old beautiful white and black tabby and a retired women who is home a lot! Please give me your thoughts as you know these cats personalities or if you might have another cat in mind. Just want to give them a good home Thank you so much Rita
